2020 L'Aventure Winery Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve

The L'Aventure Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is a Cabernet Sauvignon blended with 5% Petit Verdot and aged in 80% new oak. The wine is super stylish and very well structured. Deep ruby purple, it has very pure aromas of black and red currants, liquorice, dried roses and bouquet garni, supported by subtle nuances of graphite and a hint of oak. on the palate, the wine has melting, chocolate textured tannins, fresh acidity and remarkable fruit intensity, with a very long mineral driven finish. This seductive, well-balanced Cabernet Sauvignon has a long life in the bottle.

French winemaker Stephan Asseo has a unique perspective on winemaking in Paso Robles, having spent 17 years making wine in Bordeaux before moving to California. “I moved here to have more freedom.
