2019 Podere Il Carnasciale Valdarno di Sopra Sangiovese Ottantadue

The OTTANTADUE is a relatively new wine from Podere Il Carnasciale and is made from Sangiovese grapes grown on the estate. Launched in 2016, Il Carnasciale represents a take on this iconic grape variety of Tuscany, in the context of the recently revived 100% organic Vald'Arno di Sopra DOC.
With spontaneous fermentation of the grapes in cement and 14 months aging in neutral stainless steel, the aim is to make the purest and crispest expression of Sangiovese possible. The OTTANTADUE in its clear glass bottle is a pungent, juicy and precise wine, with the presence of a decisive structure and body.

Il Carnasciale's Valdarno di Sopra Sangiovese Ottantadue is an elegant and pure wine with aromas of wild cherry, blueberry, rosehip, bitter almond and savory rosemary essence l. In the nose clear aromas of wild strawberries and the outdoors. The taste is soft, juicy, intense, fresh, savory and with good persistence. Combine this gem with a tomato carpaccio. An average of 8,000 bottles are produced.
