Maison Boizel is one of the few major Champagne houses that is still a family business, now run by the 5th generation. The house is located on Avenue de Champagne in Épernay. Joyau is the top cuvée and made in Extra Brut style from 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. A strict selection is used for the wine from the villages of Mailly, Cumières and Chigny les Roses (all three for Pinot Noir) and Avize, Chouilly and Vertus (for Chardonnay). 2008 is known as a top vintage in Champagne. The wine has matured for 14 years in the yeast cells before disgorgement.
This beautiful champagne is only distributed via Place du Bordeaux where we can buy as an official wine merchant, so it comes directly from the wine estate. 94 Anson / 94 Decanter / 96 James Suckling

Currently, Evelyne and Christophe are the 5th generation to lead this beautiful wine company. Their champagne is regularly awarded with beautiful scores from leading wine critics, including Decanter (2020 97/100 - Platinum) and James Suckling.
