Production by Benoît Ente
Benoît Ente's vineyards are mainly located in the Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault appellations, which are known for their Chardonnays. Puligny-Montrachet is especially famous for its white wines, known for their elegance, minerality and aging potential. Meursault is also known for producing both red and white Burgundy wines of high quality. With almost 6 hectares, it extends over Puligny-Montrachet, supplemented by a vineyard located in Chassagne-Montrachet. In a dynamic of preserving the aromatic richness of terroirs and grape varieties, they look for natural acidity so that the original aromas of the fruit are expressed. The maturation of the wines takes place for 18 months, divided between wood and stainless steel. The different vintages receive equal treatment, without filtration, with the aim that the only factors of variation are the characteristics of the climate.
