For the MATT series from Monograno, this resilient and rich wheat variety comes into its own when grown in the sunny fields of Apulia, before being perfected by your master pasta makers. The Matt paste has a summery bouquet of hay, desiccated coconut. The authentic taste is reminiscent of bread, butter and bamboo shoots.
The Organic Matt Fusilloni is made from durum wheat semolina and mountain water high from the Dolomites. In the Fusilloni, the silky texture and elongated shape concentrate all the graceful power of Maat grain and are ideal for combinations with generous, rich sauces or vegetable side dishes.
