Rose et Or is the top rosé from Chateau Minuty. The Rose et Or is made from the best grapes with a very small production volume. The wine is grown and produced entirely organically, meaning there is no use of artificial fertilizers, pesticides, or other chemicals. For the Minuty Rose et Or, they utilize their groundbreaking method of using only the first juice released during the production of their rosé wines. The weight of the grapes is sufficient to obtain a first natural pressing; this first juice is fermented and used for the flagship Rose et Or and the Cuvée Prestige (a blend of this juice and the first pressing), giving the rosé wine its lush texture and elegance.
Chateau Minuity has a fully automated bottling line designed to protect the rosé wines from oxidation and preserve their aromatic qualities. Chateau Minuity (and certainly the Rose et Or and the Cuvée Prestige) belongs to the top houses such as Ott, MIP, AIX, Miraval, and Domaine Tropez, which have set the trend to produce absolute quality rosé that serves excellently as an aperitif but is certainly also excellent with lobster, shellfish, white pasta dishes, or a delicious salad. The quality and vinification are also such that the wines remain delightful during aging (2-3 years).
The wine is a blend of mainly Grenache with a small amount of Syrah. The Minuty Rose et Or is a very lively rosé with concentrated, racy flavors. It has an intense freshness, somewhat salty/mineral. It is a dry rosé without losing its fruit, and that is what distinguishes a top rosé.
The Château Minuty vineyard is situated on the slopes of the villages of Gassin and Ramatuelle, overlooking the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. The harvest is performed entirely by hand with almost bizarre perfection. Only grapes of the best quality are permitted in this version; therefore, the initial selection is already made in the vineyards. Subsequently, the grapes are inspected one by one in the winery, and only the very best grapes are allowed in the Rosé et Or version.

From: Rosé Revolution: Light Red is the New Pink (May 2025)
A gorgeous blend of green tropical melon and mint mixes with chalk dust and white smoke as the 2024 Rosé et OR comes to life in the glass. It entices with its silken textures and depths of ripe orchard fruit as a core of crisp mineral tones adds form beneath an air of sweet inner florals. This leaves the senses completely refreshed as nuances of chlorophyll and chamomile fade slowly. - Eric Guido

Chateau Minuty is a classic domain from Provence. It is located on the peninsula of Saint-Tropez. Minuty owes its name to the style of the wines and the flawless regularity. The domain works according to simple principles: The vines are grown according to rational cultivation, without weed killers or pesticides. This protected, wooded environment guarantees a privileged ecosystem. The fruit is preserved during extraction to preserve the rich expression of the region.
A renowned Provence winemaker, Château Minuty has been around since 1850, but when it was taken over by Gabriel Farnet (grandfather of the current owners) in 1936, it quickly became recognized as one of Provence's benchmark winemakers. Today Jean-Etienne and François manage the estate and have taken the focus on quality even further by reducing yields, building a new winery, replanting their Carignan and Ugni-Blanc with grenache noir and Vermentino and pioneering the use of the first juice released in the production of their rosé wines. The weight of the grapes is enough to get a first natural pressing and this first juice is fermented and used for the top model the Rose et Or and the Cuvee (a mix of this juice and the first pressing) and gives the rosé wine the luscious texture and elegance. While 70% of the production is rosé wine, there are also some excellent whites and a rich, silky red. All Chateau Minuty wines are very serious, complex wines that are perfectly suited to Provencal cuisine and are a permanent fixture on the most prestigious wine lists of the Côte d'Azur.
