The native, local variant of the Muscat grape, Moscato Gialli or Moscato Fior d'Arancio, comes from the best areas of Veneto selected for this variety. The slopes where the grapes are planted consist of volcanic and tuff soils. By allowing them to ripen for an extended period, the grapes become bursting with sugar. The grapes are picked and selected for their good condition, after which they are first dried for a month. At Maculan, the drying of the grapes takes place under natural conditions in a dry attic. The grapes hang on large, long strings, with only air circulation provided to remove humid air from the grapes. Gentle fermentation yields a wine that is not too sweet and in which all the fruit of the freshly picked grapes is still present. Afterwards, the wine ages in the bottle for another three months.
Residual sugar: 130 grams per liter.
Dindarello is a lightly sweet wine made from its own local variety of the Muscat grape, the Moscato Gialli or Moscato Fior d'Arancio. By allowing it to ripen for an extra long time, the grapes become bursting with sugar. Gentle fermentation yields a wine that is not too sweet, and in which all the fruit of the freshly picked grapes is still present.
Plums, complexity, an elegant taste; with honey, a wine with very fine acidity, richness and sweetness, but not too heavy, very elegant and light-footed, the fruit is beautiful, as are the acids. A great dessert wine and, in our opinion, one of the better ones given the very good price-quality ratio. Very suitable as an excellent aperitif, pleasant with fruit such as pineapple, apricot, or peach, and lighter desserts. The estate is located in the center of the village of Breganze. The wines from this estate are featured on the best wine lists all over the world. The wines are comparable to the great Bordeaux, and their dessert wines are unique!
