Description
The 2024 Iphöfer "K" Silvaner Trocken from Weingut Hans Wirsching is a fresh, elegant wine that immediately invites you to refill the glass. The "K" refers to the Keuper soil where the grapes are grown. This soil gives the wine its distinctive minerality and a clear, pure flavor. The aroma is softly fruity with fine, restrained aromas that are beautifully balanced.
Weingut Hans Wirsching is one of the most famous wineries in Franconia and has been making wine in Iphofen since the 17th century. They are especially known for their Silvaner, where tradition and craftsmanship combine to create wines that are always refined and expressive. This "K" Silvaner is a perfect example. Delicious with light dishes, fish, or simply as a refreshing glass on a sunny day.

Wijnhuis
Winery Hans Wirsching is one of the most traditional and renowned wineries in Franconia. The family has been growing wine for centuries; since 1630! Today the company is led by Andrea Wirsching and Dr. Heinrich Wirsching.
On 90 hectares in and around Iphofen, mainly dry white wines from Silvaner, Riesling and Scheurebe are produced.
A number of wines are still bottled here in the typical Franconian “Bochsbeutel” bottle, whose name is taken from the word "book", because it fit like a bottle in the bag in which the monks and pilgrims carried their prayer book. It has been a trademark of special wines from Franconia since the early 18th century.
Hans Wirsching is one of the references of the Franks. We work here in a sustainable way with great respect for nature and the environment.
