2023 Zuccardi Mountain Vineyard Chardonnay

The Valle de Uco, where top producer Zuccardi has its vineyards, is known for its exceptional quality. Working on an outstanding high-altitude terroir, with a long growing season featuring more than 250 sunny days a year, as well as large temperature differences between day and night, their Chardonnay is a beautiful example of this. We ourselves are also great lovers of wines from these types of high-altitude regions, where wineries like Zuccardi and Catena Zapata belong to the absolute top.

Inspiring and innovative, the Zuccardi family creates wines that let the unique climate of the Uco Valley speak for itself. Each batch of grapes from the different vineyards is harvested separately and at different times to achieve a beautiful balance in the final wine. The Mountain Valley Chardonnay is a beautifully balanced dry white wine with fresh peach and citrus aromas. Lively, fruity, and playful. Lovely acidity due to the significant cooling during the nights, and thanks to the (very controlled) oak aging, this wine has a very elegant hint of vanilla. Superbly balanced.
