Description
The grapes for the Lievland Vineyards Cellar Reserve Organic Cabernet Merlot are hand-picked, destemmed and after a two-day cold maceration, left in an open tank for a period of 7 days. The must is regularly moved and the so-called “hat” is pressed down to extract more aroma, color and flavors from the must. The wine then matures for 12 months on French oak.
The Lievland Vineyards Cellar Reserve Organic Cabernet Merlot is a wine from a vineyard that is worked organically. It is an intense, full wine with soft tannins. Plum and ripe cherry dominate the aroma. The grapes come from vines that are on average 20 years old and are worked organically
