Description
Van Hamersveld Wines was created because Cees van Hamersveld, as owner of several high-quality restaurants and hotels, including the famous boutique hotel De Zwarte Boer, went looking for 'the ultimate glass of wine'. To do this, people fly across the world to assemble these wines themselves. Always with farmers who work with respect for people and nature. The focus was on the vineyards of Imbuko Winery in Wellington, South Africa and Domaine de Marotte in Ventoux, France. A delicious and honest range of wines with an almost unprecedented good price/quality ratio.
In addition to the already well-known Feng-Wind, which was the first Feng-Shui wine in the world, there is now the Van Hamersveld Feng-Water. How special is that?! Feng Shui means Water and Wind and prior to the process of making a wine, Master Yun Lo Zi (known Feng-Shiu master) has selected the right vines to harmonize the balance between the elements in the wine. The elements were also taken into account during the making of the wine. This has resulted in a wine that is literally and figuratively balanced. The Feng-Wind is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Merlot. The Merlot and Shiraz provides a good balance between the spiciness of the Shiraz, the red and dark fruit of the Cabernet Sauvignon and the generous character of the Merlot. The wine is juicy and firm. In addition to the content, the design may also have a beautiful Feng Shui label. The bottle is closed with a cork and wax seal.
Beautiful in combination with cheeses, stews, grilled meats and gastronomic dishes. Certified by the South African Wine and Spirit board (www.swsa.co.za) with the designation "Integrity & Sustainability"
What is Feng Shui
Feng shui (simplified Chinese: 风水; traditional Chinese: 風水; pinyin: fēng shuǐ; pronounced: feng sjweej / [ˌfʌŋˈʃweɪ]) is the more than 3,000-year-old philosophy that teaches how the environment can influence happiness. Feng shui literally means 'wind and water', after the funerary book Zang Shu (葬書) which says: "Qi floats on the wind (feng) and spreads, but remains where it meets water (shui)". Feng shui teaches what influences design and furnishings have on people's well-being and happiness, and also how negative influences can be changed into positive ones.
Feng shui is about the relationship between people and the living or working environment and focuses on harmony between natural and created forms. Everything that man makes is essentially not natural, but it can be brought into harmony with nature. The goal of Feng shui is to adjust our living or working environment in such a way that a harmonious flow of Qi is stimulated. Chinese philosophy is all about harmony and balance between the opposing but complementary forces yin and yang.
