Description
Dominique Lafon Meursault Les Narvaux is a private project of the owner / winemaker of the famous Comtes Lafon wine estate. Ever since Dominique Lafon took over the reins of the Comtes Lafon family domain, he dreamed of his own project where he makes completely biodynamic wines. His top cuvee is Meursault Narvaux, of which he makes approximately 3,800 to 4,000 bottles annually. For the 2021 vintage, production was exceptionally low at 1,600 bottles. Although Les Narvaux is not classified as a Premier Cru or Grand Cru vineyard, it is known for producing high quality wines with a distinctive profile. Notes of pear, citrus oil, freshly baked bread and praline in the nose with a medium to full, layered and chalky wine on the palate that is sleek and detailed and ends with a long, mineral aftertaste. This is such a unique gem from the great year 2021.
