The Château Pédesclaux Pauillac Grand Cru Classé 2020 comes from the Pauillac appellation in the Bordeaux region of France. and is a Cinquième Grand Cru Classé according to the 1855 classification. The 2020 vintage is composed of 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot and 5% Cabernet Franc.

In the glass, Château Pédesclaux has a deep, dark purple-red, almost opaque colour with aromas of blackcurrant on the nose, complemented by hints of cedar and subtle spices. On the palate, the wine presents a balanced structure with juicy cassis flavours, supported by clean, cedar notes. The tannins are well integrated, contributing to a medium-length body and a predominantly fruity character. The finish is long and harmonious, with persistent fruity and spicy nuances.

The Château Pédesclaux 2020 goes well with dishes such as red meat, game and mature cheeses. It is recommended to decant the wine and serve it at a temperature of 17 to 18 ° C to experience the full expression of the aromas and flavors.
