Composed mainly of Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec, the La Joie has an opaque purple-black color, which slowly unfolds with deep notes of crème de cassis, preserved plums and blueberries, with hints of pencil, black olives and lilacs, plus a touch of loam and crushed stone. A lush, totally enveloping wine, the 2013 La Joie sweeps across the palate with remarkable depth, power and intensity. Dark blue and purple fruits, smoke, tobacco, licorice and cloves emerge as this dramatic, powerful Cabernet Sauvignon-based red wine shows its considerable personality. Huge tannins lurk in the background, but they are almost completely covered by the sheer lushness of the fruit. A wine with considerable verticality and structure, the 2013 will require quite a bit of patience.

This version is a 1.5 liter magnum bottle in a wooden box. A collector's item.

With more than 50 "micro-crus" spread over four appellations, Vigneron Pierre Seillan carefully crafts each Vérité blend. This mosaic of micro-crus gives Seillan the palette of aromatics, flavors, textures and structural elements he needs to make the wines of Vérité. Each micro-cru is individually harvested and fermented, then aged in French oak barrels with various custom toasts. Seillan carefully tailors his winemaking techniques and oak regimes to the personality of each plot, equipping it with hundreds of unique components that he can use to architecture from the final blends of La Muse, La Joie and Le Désir.

Like many high-end Napa wines, the Vérité has been distributed for years via the Neogciance in Bordeaux, where Grandcru wines can fortunately also buy and the run is always on the famous assortment box in which the La Muse, La Joie and Le Désir are packed in a very nice box. . Amazing wines that can go into the cellar for decades and have therefore also become investment objects.
