2021 Acustic Celler Acustic Blanc
Albert Jané started this small family business a few years ago in the DO Montsant, the area surrounding the DO Priorat. He named the bodega Acustic, acoustic, because he believes in working with his wines as pure and unenhanced as possible. The grapes are grown organically and all the work in the vineyard and also the picking is manual. He works with barrels of French oak with a very light toasting. The grape must continue to dominate.
Acústic is both the name of the bodega and the entry-level wine of this domain. This name was chosen because Albert wants to be one with the region, the terroir and nature, and want to reflect its authenticity in his wines. Viticulture and vinification takes place in the purest form; they work here according to biodynamic winegrowing techniques without being too quick to sniff.
The Acustic Blanc is a fresh white wine with a beautiful yellow color in the glass. The wine has a floral bouquet in which, despite the wood aging, a form of fruitiness is also released. The aromas that could be found in the fragrance are also released in the mouth. A mixture of dried fruit and the toastiness created by aging in oak. The acidity in combination with the bitter notes in the aftertaste ensure the completeness of this complex white wine.
