Château Rauzan-Ségla and its history

Château Rauzan-Ségla is one of the most renowned Second Growths from the 1855 Bordeaux Classification. The estate is located in the Margaux appellation, where finesse and elegance are paramount. The vineyard, comprising approximately 70 hectares, is situated on Margaux's characteristic gravel soils, which ensure optimal drainage and heat retention. The plantings consist primarily of Cabernet Sauvignon, supplemented with Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot.
