Podere le Ripi

Podere le Ripi is a biodynamic winery in Montalcino with 133 hectares of forest, vineyards, and olive trees inhabited by a shepherd and his sheep until 1998. Uncontaminated soil with great plant diversity, surrounded by breathtaking views and clean air.

Currently, there are 75 hectares of biodynamic vineyards, rooted in woodland, olive groves, a vegetable garden, and fruit trees, all spread over two opposite Montalcino mountain slopes, with soils belonging to different geological eras. This is where Podere Le Ripi started the adventure in 1998, on the east side of Montalcino: Castelnuovo dell'Abate. In 2016 they expanded the vineyards on the west side, from the oasis-like environment of il Galampio.
