Verdeca

Verdeca is a grape that originates in the northwest of Puglia. The grape is often confused with the Verdicchio grape from Le Marche (partly because one of the synonyms is Verdicchio Verde), but Verdeca is genetically a completely different grape. This grape is a quality grape from Puglia and produces very aromatic white wines with nice mineral notes and good acidity, so that the grape can also be grown well in the very warm Puglia. 

What does wine from the Verdeca grape taste like?

Verdeca grapes have straw yellow characteristics. The nose has hints of wildflowers along with citrus fruits and pineapple. The wine has a fresh taste, delicious smell and beautiful appearance. Combines well with fish dishes and salads.
