Muscat d Alexandria

Muscat d'Alexandria is a white wine grape that is a member of the Muscat family of Vitis vinifera. It is considered an "old vine" and wine experts believe it is one of the oldest genetically unmodified vines still in existence. The grape originates from North Africa, and its name is likely derived from its association with the ancient Egyptians who used the grape for winemaking. It is also a table grape that is used for eating and raisins.
