Miraval Huile d'Olive Extra Vierge Biologique Olijfolie

The Miraval - Huile d'Olive 'Extra Vierge Biologique' is a premium quality olive oil made from organic olives. It is produced in Provence, France and originates from the region around the famous Miraval Castle, former home of actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The olives for this olive oil are harvested by hand and pressed immediately after harvest to retain maximum flavor and quality and maximum polyphenol and antioxidants, which are therefore present in very high concentrations in this olive oil.

Olive trees are an integral part of the history of the Mediterranean. On the Miraval estate, they are still cultivated in the traditional way, on dry stone terraces (restanques), which reflect the sunlight and ensure perfect ripening of the olives.

The three unique picking zones on the estate are:
- Peyrefuguède: the highest part of the estate (200 metres above sea level), south-facing, with the Lucques, Caillon and Aglandau varieties.
- Restanques: southwest facing, with Cailletier, Caillon, Tanche and the local Boursallus.
- Entrance: the lowest part of the estate (150 metres above sea level), mainly planted with Aglandau.

The olive oil is cold pressed and has a low acidity of less than 0.3%, which means that it is a high-quality extra virgin quality. The taste of this olive oil is fresh and fruity with notes of green apple, green almond and herbs. The Miraval - Huile d'Olive 'Extra Vierge Biologique' is presented in an elegant 0.5 liter bottle and is an excellent choice for those who are looking for a high-quality organic olive oil of the highest quality.
