Champagne Vranken Brut Blanc de Blancs
The French Champagne and wine group Vranken Pommery has its origins in 1976 when the Belgian Paul Francois Vranken launched his own champagne brand. It is a major player in the field of sparkling wines. They market different brands. The Pommery brand has been associated with this since 2002. Since then, the group is fully called Vranken Pommery Monopole. It is the largest brand with high quality cuvees. The Pommery Wines are mainly found in the supermarket and are the more commercial brands while the Vranken versions are the more high-end quality versions - Always made from our own grapes and vineyards.
The Blanc de Blancs consists of 100 percent Chardonnay grapes from 3 Grand Crus. Avize, Cramant and Mesnil-sur-ogre. The result is a complex champagne, but also fine and elegant. The grapes are very carefully selected to achieve the highest possible quality. A second selection follows in the winery before pressing. The vinification process is followed step by step. So that action can always be taken.
A Blanc de Blancs is always a 100% Chardonnay, so just like these Vranken. In the glass, this delicious champagne has a light golden yellow color with crystal green reflections in the glass. The nose reveals aromas of white flowers acacia and hawthorn and fruit aromas of citrus, nectarine and peach. The mouth is harmonious with a replica of the fruity scents perceived in the nose. The finish is pleasant and is characterized by nice notes of vanilla and bread pudding with a good length. A perfect champagne for an aperitif! At the table, it goes very well with all seafood and shellfish. It goes perfectly with a fish tartar.
