This wine, made entirely from the popular Merlot grape, comes from vineyards in various regions within the Languedoc-Roussillon . By making optimal use of the diverse characteristics of the wine regions, this beautiful, balanced Corette Merlot was created. The production of this wine takes place in a classic manner, following Bordeaux traditions, which begins with a long maceration of the grape skins. A portion of the wine is aged in oak barrels for 6 to 9 months. This wine can be characterized as: (medium) full-bodied, aromatic, complex, and partially aged in oak.

This Corette Merlot is a beautiful dark red color and has delicious aromas of cassis and blackberries, which combine wonderfully with the aromas of cinnamon and thyme also present. On the palate, this wine is full, round, rich, and velvety. The wine is very accessible yet full of character. Serve: preferably at 16-17°C.

This wine tastes delicious with a cozy dinner featuring dishes such as meat, poultry, and various cheeses.

The wines are made by Badet Clément, from Catherine and Laurent Delaunay, a large house that originates from Burgundy, but has also been active in Languedoc-Roussillon and the southern Rhône for a long time.

The Corette wine series has been developed exclusively for the trade and catering industry and currently consists of 8 products, each made from a single grape variety. Much attention has been paid to the appearance of the Corette wines (including labels, bottles and presentation). The Corette series contains wines from the Pays d'Oc. Corette stands for pure and honest wines for every day; wines in which the aroma and taste characteristics of the grape are well expressed.
