Description
A delicious, dry white wine, this Trebbiano Chardonnay igt 'Nespoli' produced by the dedicated winery Poderi dal Nespoli. The Trebbiano grape is widely planted in Italy, not only in Tuscany, but also on Lake Garda or, as in this case, in the Romagna region. For this wine it is combined with Chardonnay , with each grape making up half of the wine. The grapes are planted on a light clay soil with a high sand content, which ensures light-footed wines with finesse. The combination of light-footed and aromatic Trebbiano with the rich Chardonnay is ideal. Chardonnay is a grateful grape for Romagna. With careful care it can always produce beautiful, tasty wines. In recent years there has been a trend towards lighter Chardonnay wines, and we find that trend in this pleasant white combination of Trebbiano and Chardonnay. It is made on the fruit, with a low temperature fermentation, in stainless steel. It results in a delicious juicy, fruity and light-footed white wine.
The wine is a beautiful pale straw yellow in color and has a wonderful exotic and open scent with aromas of pineapple, peach, flowers and ripe pear. The taste is open, uplifting and lively, light-footed, juicy with good acidity. This Trebbiano Chardonnay tastes very nice with fish dishes, pasta dishes with fish or shellfish and with pumpkin soup.

Winery Poderi Dal Nespoli is located in the village of Nespoli in the Romagna region, a historical region in Italy, in the southeastern part of the current region of Emilia-Romagna. In the year 1929, in a part of Romagna between the Apennines and the sea, Attilio Ravaioli planted the rows of vines on the first vineyard he bought in the village of Nespoli, called Prugneto. This was followed by others, which are now part of the company's 110-hectare property. The vineyard is located in the Bidente Valley, which has territorial features that are unique and almost magical. The exposure of the vineyards and the geography of the valley, which keep the vineyards well ventilated, contribute to a microclimate that is particularly favorable. The wines obtained - Sangiovese in particular - are the most authentic expression of this great terroir.
