Description
These highly sought after Finca EloĆsa Appassionada wines are made by Bodegas Medio and come from the DOC Rioja. The bodega is located at the foot of the Sierra de Yarga south of Logrono. The area has a continental climate with Mediterranean summers. The vineyards are on average at an altitude of 500 meters.
The Finca EloĆsa Appassionada Blanco is a blend of Tempranillo Blanco and Chardonnay. Part of the harvest is fermented traditionally and a second part is not completely fermented, which means that the wine contains a small amount of over-fermented sugars. The wine then matures for at least 4 months on American oak. A small part of the Chardonnay from the grapes is dried (Appasimento)
The Finca EloĆsa Appassionada Blanco is a delicious rich white wine with aromas of tropical fruit, pineapple and mineral tones. The taste clearly shows the influence of the maturation in oak barrels. This is for lovers of a round, full, white wine. The ideal drinking temperature is in our opinion between 8-10 ° C. Delicious with chicken. Turkey, ripe soft cheeses
