Description
A 3rd generation of Varvaglione already runs this company. Cosimo and Maria Teresa Varvaglione have a dynamic and motivated team of employees and combine tradition with new technologies. Feudi Salentini ensures consistent quality through meticulous selection of only the best grapes, responsible choices during the harvest, meticulous control of the vinification processes and a constant search for perfection in cellar techniques. In the heart of Puglia, assisted by a very pleasant wine-growing climate, Feudi Salentini is attempting an ambitious project, namely capturing this fascinating climate in a bottle, which is distinguished by both the use of indigenous grapes and a modern expression of an ancient tradition. This is proven by a long and prestigious list of awards they have won in recent years.
The GOCCE is the top model Feudi Salentini. The Primitivo grapes come from old vines located in the heart of the DOP. The careful selection of Primitivo grapes is done by hand. Vinification by maceration at a controlled temperature of 26° -28° C. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is allowed to mature in French barrels and American barrique for at least 10 months. In the glass, the Gocce is a ruby red wine, with a round and soft taste and a bouquet reminiscent of jam, wild berries and notes of caramel. Both its structure and distinctive elegance identify the terroir admirably. It goes perfectly with red meat, game and aged cheese with jam.

Feudi Salentini ensures consistent quality through meticulous selection of only the best grapes, responsible choices during harvest, a meticulous control of the processes of vinification and a constant search for perfection in cellaring techniques.
In the heart of Puglia, aided by a very pleasant wine-growing climate, Feudi Salentini is trying out an ambitious project, namely to capture this fascinating climate in a bottle, which is distinguished by both the use of indigenous grapes and a modern expression of an ancient tradition. This is proven by a long and prestigious list of awards they have won in recent years.
On this fertile soil, surrounded by small stone walls, one can enjoy a view that unites the intense green of the vineyards and the silver reflexes of centuries-old olive trees, producing an excellent range of wines from indigenous grapes of Salento, such as Negroamaro, Malvasia Nera, Malvasia Bianca, Aglianico and Verdeca.
