2019 Baglio del Cristo di Campobello Sicilia Lu Patri

The Baglio del Cristo di Campobello C'D'C' comes from the Italian Sicily. Baglio del Cristo is now seen as one of the best wineries in Sicily, where Sicily is currently seen as a strongly emerging Italian wine region. In 2000, the Bonetta brothers started the first plantations of vines in Agrigento. The family wanted to make its dream come true, making wines of the highest quality. This has worked out nicely, in 2009 the wines were launched on the market and they immediately won prizes.

Pure and sublime is a good summary of this great Sicilian wine made from 100% Nero d'Avola. DeLuPatri. The grapes are harvested by hand and sorted by hand. After the 18-day temperature-controlled maceration, the aging takes place for 18 months with maturation in 225 liters of French oak barriques (Nevers, Trançais, Allier), a third of which is new. After this education, the wine also stays in the bottle for another 10 months for maturation. The wine is dark red in the glass with balsamic notes, aromatic herbs to fruit of blackberry and black cherry. On the palate, the wine is round, soft, complex and warm, with Mediterranean spices and nice flavors of tobacco, licorice and pepper. Round and generous, elegantly complex, beautiful tannins with a harmonious finish and long aromatic finish.
