Making wine is in the Cañas family's blood. The winery was founded in 1928 by Luis Cañas, but the history of the company goes back further. The family has been active in grape growing and wine production for over 2 centuries. The vast vineyards of the Cañas family are located in La Rioja, an autonomous province in the north of Spain. The Spanish family business is located in the heart of the Rioja Alavesa. According to experts, one of the best wine regions in the world. The ideal microclimate, the calcareous clay soil and its location on slopes and terraces contribute to the high quality of Luis Cañas' wines.
