Chateau Saintayme

Château Saintayme, located in Saint-Émilion, is owned by Denis Durantou, known for Château L'Eglise-Clinet in Pomerol. The vineyard covers one plot of nine hectares, mainly planted with Merlot, supplemented with some Cabernet Franc. The terroir consists of lime, clay and gravel.

Vinification and Maturation

The vinification process takes place in small stainless steel barrels, followed by aging for 14 months in small French oak barrels, 30% of which are new. This creates a wine with soft tannins and ripe fruit tones.
