Château Le Bon Pasteur is a prestigious winery located in the Pomerol appellation in Bordeaux, France. It was founded by the Rolland family in 1920 and has since been known for its high quality wines. Michel Rolland, one of the most famous oenologists in the world, has had a major influence on winemaking at Château Le Bon Pasteur. 

His expertise and innovative approach have contributed to the continuous improvement of wine quality. The winery remains committed to sustainability and innovation in its vineyards and winery. Château Le Bon Pasteur has vineyards that extend over about 6.6 hectares, divided into several plots in Pomerol and a small part in the nearby Saint-Émilion appellation. 

Terroir

The terroir consists mainly of clay and gravel soils, which are ideal for the cultivation of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, the two main grape varieties grown here.
