Petite Arvine is a white grape, used for wine, that is mainly found in Valais, Switzerland. Ampelologists suspect that this very old grape is of Italian origin, but took its name from the Arvedal. In the Valais, it is seen as a quality grape and grows on steep, terraced vineyards.

What does wine from the Petite Arvine grape taste like?

The wines of this grape are rich and full of flavor. Fresh, a little "salty" and aromas of roses, citrus fruits, rhubarb and pineapple.
