Giannikos Winery owns 8 ha of vines in two locations, one in Corinth around the winery and the other in Mycenae, near the famous archaeological site and birthplace of Greek viticulture almost 4000 years ago. Both vineyards are grown strictly organically because it is believed that only naturally grown vines can produce healthy grapes that form the basis of their quality wines. Another important aspect is the influence of the sea on the microclimate. The cooling winds, together with the Mediterranean sun and the soil, provide the best conditions and are the reasons that Giannikos Winery is already very popular and well-known internationally, but given the small production.

Greece has a rich heritage of indigenous grape varieties, and Giannikos Winery's philosophy is to unite tradition and new technology. That's why they grow organically and harvest and prune carefully by hand. In the winery, they use modern steel tanks, state-of-the-art machinery, and French oak barrels from selected manufacturers.
