Chateau Rauzan-Gassies
Chateau Rauzan-Gassies
The domain once belonged (in the 17th century) to Pierre de Rauzan and later, during the Revolution, was separated into Ch. Rauzan Ségla and Ch. Rauzan Gassies. Since 1946, Ch. Rauzan Gassies has been in the hands of the Quié family and today it is Jean-Michel Quié who runs the estate together with his children Anne-Françoise and Jean-Philippe. Serious works in the vineyard have greatly improved the quality of the wine and the new cuverie was put into use from the 2017 vintage. Without having the concentration of the very great Margaux wines, this turns out to be a very interesting, delicious wine with preservation power.
