Teroldego

Teroldego is an autochthonous blue grape from the Trentino region. Although this variety is centuries old, it is only very locally planted on the Rotaliano plain around the banks of the Noce River in Mezzolombardo. The high acidity and good tannin structure guarantee a graceful aging of the wine, provided that the yield is kept in check.

What does wine from the Teroldego grape taste like?

The wines of the Teroldego are typically Italian, with the characteristic acidity. The taste palette is interesting with light red summer fruit and some almond. The wines are often a bit earthy in character with sometimes a slight hint of pine resin.
