2019 Deutzerhof Cuvée Légère Rotwein trocken
grape Dornfelder, Pinot Noir, Regent

The regent is a cross between the blue grape, the chambourcin and the white diana. The diana is a cross between the Silvaner grape and the Müller-Thurgau, two white grape varieties that are common in Germany. The blue rain is very resistant to mould that is caused by moisture.

What does wine from the Regent grape taste like?

Regent wine comes close to the Merlot. Nose of ripe plums, cherries and red peppers are characteristic. Long-lasting maceration gives a dark red tannic wine.
