How do you taste wine from the Refosco grape?
The grape produces elegant, powerful wines with a great personality. The wines have a ruby red color and a spicy scent. The taste is broad and firm, long-lasting and reminiscent of small red fruits: berries, blackberries and wild strawberries. A soft bitterness can be found in the long aftertaste. To soften the wine slightly, Merlot is often used.
