Minella bianca is very rarely seen as a variety and is most commonly used in blends with Carricante and Catarratto bianco or even with the red wine grape Nerello Mascalese and is found in the fine Etna Bianco and Rosso DOC wines where it is one of the grapes allowed according to the rules of the Appelation.
