Wermoed is old Dutch for vermouth and both the name Willem and the orange copper icon on the bottle stand for a purely Dutch product. Combine a love for cocktails, design and the unknown and you will find Willem's Wermoed, the very first vermouth in the Netherlands.
Willem's Wermoed Vermout (also written as Vermouth) is a premium vermouth inspired by the Amsterdam Hortus Botanicus with 24 hand-selected botanicals such as wild thyme, cherry stalks, pine tops and willow roses. The basis of this vermouth is a Spanish quality wine, a blend of the Airén and Zalema grape that has aged in oak barrels for at least two years. This together gives Willem's Wermoed a subtle, bittersweet taste with notes of pine, fig and soft spicy bitters in the aftertaste. This premium Vermout is a unique aperitif and premium basis for mixed drinks and (classic) cocktails.
The Willem's Wermoed has been awarded the Silver Quality Award International Wine and Spirit Competition 2016.
