This wine is specially made by Juan Gil (vd Clio and El Nido) for the Spanish market, but we are the only ones allowed to carry it in the Netherlands. A full, round wine made from the monastrell grape with respect for nature. Juan Gil Pedrera Alta needs no further introduction and this is rightly a lot of Value for Money. The Pedrera Alta comes from the area of La Aragona at about seven hundred meters altitude. The vineyard is over 40 years old and is situated on a sandy/loamy plateau with a high percentage of limestone. The Juan Gil Pedrera Alta reveals an exuberant expression of ripe fruit and is wonderfully fresh, fresh and well-structured in the mouth.
