The Tenuta Degli Dei estate has been owned by the Cavalli family since the 70s. Around the year 2000, the son of fashion guru Roberto Cavalli, Tomasso Cavalli, decided to transform the estate in the heart of Chianti (Tuscany) into a quality wine estate. Tenuta Degli Dei is located in the village of San Leoline, near Panzano. The vineyards are located in the well-known Conca d'Oro valley. It is ideal for viticulture thanks to its soil and its unique orientation to sunlight.

In 2010, the estate was expanded with the purchase of a Chianti Classico vineyard where only Sangiovese grapes are grown. In 2013 the first wine of this wine comes on the market and it is completely in the style of the house. Tomasso gets the help of Gioia Cresti and Carlo Ferrini to make his wine. Two winemakers who have been working together since 1998 and who have made their name for some time now. The soil is a mixture of marl and clay. In addition to Sangiovese, the French varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Alicante Bouschet have been planted.
