Located in the Côte de Beaune region of Burgundy, the village of Saint-Aubin is home to 30 Premier Cru vineyards planted on a hill above the valley, which protects the vines from wind and fog. This is a boon to the Chardonnay grape. Chardonnays from this region offer typical characteristics of white flowers, almond, citrus and flint notes. And although red wine makes up only about a quarter of the production here and typically features black currants, cherries and blackberries mixed with a bit of spice, both red and white wines are great wines at the right price and are often better in terms of price / quality. the illustrious Burgundy neighbors.
