Californian Steve Rued traveled the world to learn as much as possible about the art of winemaking. However, his love for California brought him back to his home. In 1993 he met the South African Sonia, who at that time was working for a season near the vineyards of the Rued family. Steve and Sonia married in 1996, after which they went their separate ways for several years. In 2000 they released their first vintage of Rued Family wine.

The couple has been working together on the Rued Vineyards ever since. Here they focus on producing their own Panamera wines, striving to emphasize the character of California as much as possible. The hand-harvested grapes come from vineyards in the Central Valley and Central Coast. The fermentation process takes place in stainless steel tanks, where the Panamera acquires a fruity and mineral character under controlled temperatures. The grapes are pressed slowly to preserve the unique aromas as much as possible. The wine is then aged for another six to eight months in oak barrels. The result: three powerful premium wines.

The existence of Panamera Chardonnay is due to Steve Rued, a talented winemaker from California. With his Panamera Chardonnay and Cabernet wine, he has managed to capture the typical Calfonia style in affordable versions. Panamera is produced on the iconic Rutherford Ranch. This famous winery is located in perhaps the most beautiful wine region of California: Napa Valley. Thanks to the perfectly located vineyards, the grapes develop optimally. The climate, with lots of suns and the necessary wind, ensures that the chardonnay grapes are firm, but with a subtle freshness. It is not surprising that the Panamera wines are one of the most popular wines in the Netherlands and Belgium.
