Bandol became a real appellation in 1941. Lucien Peyraud, founder of Domaine Tempier, has made a major contribution to the legally protected designation of origin and the demarcation of the areas with high-quality terroir properties. Domaine Tempier is a winery founded in 1834.The winery received its first gold medal in 1885 on the initiative of the grandmother Leonie, who built the first winery. Located in the heart of the Bandol in Provence. Domaine Tempier is a 38-hectare vineyard divided into several parcels on steep slopes bathed in sunshine with its terraces overlooking the sea.
