In the 1980s, Anne Sophie and her husband decided to settle in the region in Burgundy, the region they had fallen in love with for its beautiful landscapes and vineyards. With a bit of luck, they got the opportunity to buy a plot of land in the village of Rully. Anne Sophie then embarks on this adventure, helped by her husband.

Felix, one of her sons, joined the domain in 2009 after traveling around the world. A passionate oenologist and winemaker, he strives to create wines that embody not only tradition but also terroir. The domain now extends over 11 hectares over the Rully and Bouzeron appellations in the Côte Chalonnaise and Beaune in the Côte de Beaune. At Rois Mages they have enormous respect for the grape and the terroir. There are no fewer than 7 microclimates within the 11 hectares they own that they have to take into account. Purity, elegance and grape variety are the three keywords at Rois Mages.Rully AC belongs to the Côte Chalonnaise sub-region which lies south of the prestigious Burgundian villages such as Meursault, Puligny and Chassagne Montrachet.

The wines of Rois Mages are refined and lively, often with a strong mineral edge and a pleasant and balanced palate. The wines are aged for 12 months in wooden barrels and spend a second winter in a stainless steel tank on their best lees to gain complexity.
