Veronique Bernard Bonin and Nicolas belong to the select group of winemakers who are known for their top Burgundies, especially their Meursault. The vineyard is the easternmost vineyard of the village of Meursault - Côte de Beaune. The surface contains a lot of gravel and lime. The grapes are harvested manually with an extremely gentle pressing of the grapes for a high-quality must and only our own yeast cells are used for fermentation. Then the wine ages for 18 months in oak barrels, a limited part of which is renewed every year.

The wines have elegance, finesse and are pure and precise. Domain of 7.7 ha exclusively planted with Chardonnay and previously known under the name “Michelot mère et fille”. To avoid confusion with the Michelot domain, the name was changed to Bernard-Bonin. The production includes Bourgogne Blanc, Meursault Villages, Meursault 1 ° cru and Puligny Montrachtet 1 ° cru and the first vintage was 1999. The philosophy is to make wine as natural as possible. This means no sugaring, no secondary acids, no enzyme, no clarification or filtering and the use of sulphite is limited to a minimum dose.
