Château d'Arsac has been owned by Mr Philippe Raoux since 1986. The 250-hectare Arsac estate is home to 108 hectares of vines, 54 of which are in the Margaux appellation, 50 in the Haut-Médoc appellation and 4 in the Bordeaux Blanc (Sauvignon Blanc) appellation. The terroir of the estate, consisting of a sandy gravel elevation combined with a fairly thin layer of clay, is very conducive to viticulture.

The château is one of the only castles of which 52 hectares were promoted in 1995 to the Margaux appellation (formerly Haut Médoc) by the INAO, which controls and manages the appellations. In addition, the château is special because Mr Raoux has also renovated the castle in an ultra-modern way. Finally, the garden and the castle feature various contemporary works of art. In stark contrast to the modern style of the chateau is the style of the wine, which is very classic and fresh and is advised by Eric Boissenot, also advisor to Ch Margaux, Ch Lafite & Mouton Rothschild and Ch Latour.
