The Sierra Cantabria Crianza is a wonderfully full Rioja, but in balance. Definitely recommended. This wine is made from the Tempranillo. The Crianza has been matured for 14 months in French and American oak. Its color is ruby red with light violet in the edges of the glass. In the nose, a bouquet of red fruits (currants, blackcurrants) with nice intensity, hints of roasted coffee, graphite and vanilla. Its taste has a good structure, good balance between tannins, alcohol and acids. We can also recommend the entire series of Hermanos Eguren/Sierra Cantanbria wines. Absolute Top Riojas.

The godello grapes are fermented at controlled low temperatures in stainless steel deposits and then further matured on sur lie yeasts. In the glass, the Polvorette has a fresh straw yellow color, pure, clear and with a medium intensity. This delightful white wine is very expressive on the nose with notes of fresh white flowers and white and yellow fruit. The passage through the mouth is fresh and persistent, but without losing the balanced acidity typical of the variety. The Polvorete is a wine born to make the wonders of the Godello grape known all over the world. A wine full of joy, youth and fun, which you can especially easily enjoy. The Juan Gil Blanco is the white wine from the Juan Gil series (yellow, silver and blue label). It is a dry wine made from Moscatel/Muscat grapes coming from an elevated vineyard (700 meters) in the valley of La Aragona, north of Jumilla, with chalky soils, a dry climate and many hours of sun that form a microclimate that is perfect is for this variety. Due to the altitude, the differences between day and night are large, which ensures elegance and good acidity. In the glass, the Juan Gil Moscatel has a light straw yellow color with a green tinge. In the nose aromas of fresh melon, peach and kiwi supplemented with jasmine and white pepper. Juicy, tightly wrapped pome fruit and honey aromas on the palate make this very pleasant wine juicy, refreshing with a long, intensely spicy finish.

While you wait for the 'great' wines of Moro to reach their peak, you can already fully enjoy this fruity, youthful Tempranillo from Emilio Moro. The Finca Resalso comes from the (relatively) younger vines. In the glass, the wine has a cherry red color with purple hues. In the nose, the aroma and intensity of the wine stimulates the senses. Pure fruit enjoyment of strawberries, cherries, raspberry liquorice and black forest fruits. The Finca Resalso is lively, with a spicy touch and just enough structure due to the 4 months aging in French barriques. It is a very fine wine with a well-developed structure that makes it very pleasant to drink. The Resalso has an excellent price-quality ratio. In the April edition of Hubrecht Duijker, the Finca Resalso by Emilio Moro receives a favorable assessment and the designation 'Recommended'.
