Unique package with the 2 beautiful Rioja wines from one of the most famous wineries in the Rioja, namely Sierra Cantabria. This wine comes in a unique luxury wine box with images of all the iconic domains owned by the Eguren family (Teso la Monja, San Vicente, Sierra Cantabria, Paganos) on the back of the beautiful box. This luxury wine box contains a beautiful unique white rioja and the scarce Garnacha from very old vineyards.
The Organza of Sierra Cantabria is a blend of the Viura, Malvasia & Garnacha Blanca grapes and comes from the old vineyard San Vicente de la Sonsierra.
After manual picking, the grapes are cold soaked for 12 hours to extract extra flavor and aroma from the grapes. Fermentation takes place in new French oak barrels. Followed by barrel aging for 9 months and battonage (stirring the dead yeast cells for extra body and volume) twice a week for the first 6 months. This is a beautiful refined white Rioja with beautifully refined oak and a nice butterscotch. In the nose white fruits and in the mouth a good acidity and again beautiful fruit tones with refined oak and vanilla.
The Sierra Cantabria Crianza is a wonderfully balanced Rioja. Absolutely recommended. This wine is made from the Tempranillo. The Crianza has enjoyed 14 months of education in French and American oak. Its color is ruby red with light violet in the edges of the glass. In the nose, a bouquet of red fruits (currants, blackcurrants) with beautiful intensity, hints of roasted coffee, graphite and vanilla. Its taste has a good structure, good balance between tannins, alcohol and acids.

The Spanish winery Sierra Cantabria was founded in 1957 by Guillermo Eguren and is one of Hermanos Eguren's beautiful wineries. Sierra Cantabria is located in the Rioja in a unique location between the River Ebro and the Sierra Cantabria mountain range. The Sierra Cantabria Mountains (1200m.) And the River Ebro (350m.) Provide a special microclimate with Mediterranean and continental features - mild winters and mild summers, unique to wine growing.
On the other hand, the thermal summer jump (intense heat during the day with fresh night temperatures) increases the polyphenol content, which makes for excellent quality wines with a distinctive character.
The vineyards of Bodega Sierra Cantabria are mainly located in the towns of San Vicente de la Sonsierra, Labastida and Laguardia, an area very well known for wine growing.
The Tempranillo variety predominates, along with small amounts of Garnacha, Viura and 'Hairy Tempranillo', all of which are grown in vineyards about 35 years old, although there are also plots up to 70 years old.The harvest is carried out by hand every year, paying special attention to the rigorous selection of the grapes that are the soul of the wine, in optimal condition and in perfect ripening conditions. The careful harvest is followed by a thorough separation of the bunches, which is done on a selection table at the entrance of the winery. Winemaking is aimed at minimal intervention in the winery to fully respect the character of the terroir
