Kavalan Single Malt

King Car Distillery is located in Yilan County, Taiwan, and the single malt whiskey produced there is named after the indigenous people who originally lived in this northeast corner of the island: the Kavalan.

Although the distillery was only opened in 2005, the warm subtropical climate means that the whiskey effectively matures faster and an impressive range of whiskeys is available. For example, this Kavalan Single Malt Whiskey received a gold medal at the International Wine & Spirits Competition 2011.

Nose : Fresh, elegant, floral, fruity and seductive. With hints of honey, tropical fruit (especially mango), pear, vanilla, coconut and a hint of chocolate.

Taste : A touch of sweet mango juice with mild spicy complexity

Finish is soft and is characterized by a citrus touch
