Taiwanese whiskey has been a thing for a while, actually since 2008, but the highly regarded Kavalan whiskeys are now finally available in Europe! This single malt whiskey uses Ruby Port, Tawny Port and Vintage Port casks from Portugal to complete whiskeys initially aged in American oak. Kavalan Concertmaster was voted Best in Class at the 2011 International Wine & Spirit Competition.
Scent: Tropical fruit with honey, vanilla, coconut and cotton candy
Taste: Rich body with a refined sweetness and complexity
Finish: Medium with sweetness
