Herdade do Sobroso is located in Vidigueira in the Alentejo region. This is one of the oldest wine regions in Portugal. In the beautiful Alentejo, Herdade do Sobroso has a perfect location with its vineyards located on the banks of the Guadiana River. It is the perfect setting for the ripening of the grapes and few vineyards have this luxury and this partly explains why this winery can make very beautiful wines because there is never any water debt. In addition to the fact that there is sufficient water, this region is the only one within the Alentejo that has the influence of the ocean, which ensures healthy ripening. With its 1600 hectares, Herdade do Sobroso is a household name in the region. The wines from the 60 HA HA of vineyards are famous, but also the Luxury Wine Hotel of Hedade do Sobroso and the abundance of flora and fauna.

This wonderful domain also contains a multitude of very old olive trees in unspoilt nature, on which the wonderful, refined Galega olives hang (a typical Portuguese variety). After picking, the Galega olives are immediately cold pressed on site and filled unfiltered. What makes this cold-pressed Premium olive oil so special is its refined, soft nutty taste with shades of wood and earth. Highly recommended with delicate salads, grilled vegetables and appetizers.
